Good grief! I used my lable maker just this morning to write KUDOS for a folder I'm using to file "good job" notes I

recieve at work. My boss would definitely say I was being proactive in getting things in order for my next evaluation. Wanna really laugh? I work as a writer!

Stephen - this reminds of my days as a sports writer for another paper. I fielded calls from the reporters at local school games, recorded the highlights, names, and scores, and hammered together the short paragraph about the game for tomorrow's paper. The Bears always "mauled" the Tigers, The Magicians "dazzled" the Crows, The Cardinals "flew past" the Angels - no team was defeated or beat another, no one won, no one simply scored points. We needed a Strunk and White Euphemism Dictionary, replaced every season.

Kudos to you Stephen for a laugh-filled, bone-tickler of a post.
