Wednesday, Dec. 17
• A 46-year-old woman of James Court was arrested at 11:18 a.m. on a warrant charging her with failure to pay or plead an infraction.
• A 20-year-old Branford woman was arrested at 3:07 p.m. and charged with three counts of credit card fraud.
• A 57-year-old man of Pennywise Lane was arrested at 7:17 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of drugs or alcohol and failure to drive in proper lane of a multiple-lane highway following a traffic stop on Old Boston Post Road at Pennywise Lane.
• A 33-year-old man of a North Main Street apartment was arrested at 11:34 p.m. on a warrant charging him with failure to appear.
• A 29-year-old man of an Essex Road apartment was issued a misdemeanor summons at 11:33 a.m. for operating for operating a motor vehicle while under license suspension following a traffic stop on Main Street.

• A 36-year-old Hartford woman was issued a misdemeanor summons at 6:56 p.m. for operating a motor vehicle while under license suspension on Route 1 near Elm Street.

• A 20-year-old Westbrook man was issued a misdemeanor summons at 1:15 p.m. for traveling too fast for conditions and operating a motor vehicle while under license suspension.
• A 20-year-old Essex man was issued a citation at 8:31 p.m. for failure to drive in the proper lane of a multiple-lane highway and failure to illuminate rear marker plate on Route 1 at Railroad Bridge.

• A 25-year-old man of Edmund Street was issued a citation at 10:33 a.m. for failure to obey an overhead traffic signal and operating an unregistered motor vehicle on Route 1 at Route 166.
• A 42-year-old Deep River man was issued a citation at 11:30 a.m. for operating an unregistered motor vehicle and operating a motor vehicle while using a hand-held cell phone on Boston Post Road near Main Street.
• A 16-year-old was issued a citation at 12:35 p.m. for violation of passenger restrictions on a 16- to 17-year-old operator following a motor vehicle stop on Boston Post Road at Old Boston Post Road.

• A 21-year-old Madison man was issued a misdemeanor summons at 6:45 p.m. for possession of drug paraphernalia and improper passing following a traffic stop on Main Street near Coulter Street.

Wednesday, Dec. 24
• A 28-year-old Shelton man was arrested at 9:30 p.m. and charged with robbery in the first degree, larceny in the second degree, and threatening in the second degree. He was processed and held on a $100,000 court-set bond pending a Dec. 24 court date. The accused was arrested upon the execution of a search and seizure warrant served at 183 Long Hill Avenue in Shelton. These charges stem from the Dec. 8 bank robbery at the Bank of America in Old Saybrook. The accused is believed to have committed bank robberies over the past several months in Seymour, Madison, and Hamden. Police officers seized several items during the execution of the search warrant, including a vehicle. The Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Connecticut State Police Major Crime Squad, and the Shelton, Madison, and Seymour police departments assisted with the investigation.
• A 50-year-old woman of Deer Run was arrested at 12:08 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs and failure to drive a reasonable distance apart.
• A 55-year-old Guilford man was issued a misdemeanor summons at 7:49 p.m. for evading responsibility in the operation of a motor vehicle following an accident in which there was property damage and/or bodily injury (fleeing the scene).

Friday, Dec. 26
• A 22-year-old man of Ingham Hill Road was arrested at 9:40 p.m. and charged with delivery of alcohol to minors. He was processed and released on a written promise to appear in court on Jan. 6.
• A 20-year-old man of Briarwood Drive was issued a citation at 9:16 p.m. for possession of alcohol by a minor on Route 1 at Lynde Street.
• A 20-year-old man of Cromwell Court was issued a citation at 9:16 p.m. for possession of alcohol by a minor on Route 1 at Lynde Street.
Saturday, Dec. 27
• A juvenile was arrested and charged with possession of less than four ounces of marijuana. The juvenile was processed and released on a written promise to appear in court on Jan. 6.
Sunday, Dec. 28
• A 44-year-old Wallingford man was arrested at 11:08 a.m. on a warrant charging him with larceny in the first degree and burglary in the second degree. He was turned over to the North Haven Police Department, which held the warrant.
• A juvenile was arrested at 4:21 p.m. and charged with possession of tobacco by a minor in public. In the same incident, a second juvenile was arrested and charged with possession of tobacco by a minor in public and possession of drug paraphernalia.
• A 48-year-old Westbrook man was arrested at 7:11 p.m. and charged with burglary in the third degree, criminal mischief in the second degree, larceny in the sixth degree, failure to keep prescription drug in original container, and larceny in the first degree by possession. He was processed and held on a $20,000 bond pending a Dec. 29 court date.
• A 60-year-old Plainville man was issued a misdemeanor summons at 1:27 a.m. for failure to obey an overhead signal, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, misuse of plates, and failure to have insurance following a traffic stop on Route 1 and Schoolhouse Road.
Monday, Dec. 29
• A 32-year-old Clinton woman was arrested at 5:12 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs and failure to have lights lit following a motor vehicle stop on Route 1 at Baum Avenue.
• An 18-year-old man of Cypress Road was arrested at 10:15 p.m. and charged with possession of alcohol by a minor, use and possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of less than four ounces of marijuana.

• A 39-year-old New London man was issued a misdemeanor summons at 12:14 p.m. for operating a motor vehicle while under license suspension following a traffic stop on Elm Street near King Street.
From Dec. 24 to 30, Old Saybrook police also issued five citations for failure to obey an overhead signal. One citation was issued for each of the following: failure to wear a seat belt in the front seat, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, violation of passenger restrictions on a 17-year-old driver, improper use of highway by a pedestrian, speeding, failure to drive a reasonable distance apart, and operating a motor vehicle without a driver’s license.

• A 41-year-old Branford man was arrested at 11:17 a.m. on a warrant and charged with criminal mischief in the second degree, criminal mischief in the third degree, and criminal attempt to commit entry into a coin machine.
• A 38-year-old man of West Main Street was arrested at 3:22 p.m. on a warrant charging him with two counts of issuing a bad check and two counts of larceny in the sixth degree.
• A 24-year-old man of High Street was issued a written warning at 7:31 p.m. on North High Street for operating a motor vehicle without a license, traveling too fast for conditions, failure to have tail lamps or an illuminated rear marker plate, and operating a motor vehicle while under license suspension.
• An incident of identity theft on West Shore Drive was investigated at 10:01 a.m.
• Animal complaints were investigated on Brush Hill Road at 1:22 p.m.

• A 42-year-old Westbrook man was arrested at 9:37 a.m. on a warrant charging him with failure to appear in the second degree.
• A person who suffered a laceration/bleeding on Killingworth Turnpike required medical transport at 12:28 p.m.
• An injured person on Kenilworth Drive required medical transport at 12:30 p.m.

• A 35-year-old man of West Main Street was arrested at 4:23 p.m. and charged with disorderly conduct following a custodial interference incident.
• A 27-year-old woman of Glenwood Drive was arrested at 7:51 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs.
• A 74-year-old man of West Main Street was arrested at 9:38 p.m. and charged with threatening, reckless endangerment in the first degree, and disorderly conduct following a dispute. In the same incident, a 20-year-old woman of the same address was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct.
• A burglary on West Main Street was investigated at 8:48 p.m.

• A 31-year-old Bristol man was arrested at 6:45 p.m. on a warrant charging him with harassment in the second degree and threatening.
• A 36-year-old woman of Jefferson Circle was arrested at 9:49 p.m. and charged with risk of injury to a minor and disorderly conduct following a 911 hang-up call.

• A 48-year-old North Stonington man was arrested at 7:17 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs following an investigation into a motor vehicle accident on East Main Street.
• A sick person on Glenwood Road required medical transport at 4:44 a.m.
• Police were unable to locate a suspicious vehicle that was reported on White Oak Drive at 6:15 a.m.
• A laceration/bleeding on Killingworth Turnpike required medical transport at 10:54 a.m.
• The report of a suspicious person on East Main Street was investigated at 4:52 p.m.
• Medical transport was refused by a person on Liberty Street after the trigger of a medical alarm at 7:23 p.m.

He was processed on a $1,500 surety bond pending a court date.
• A 55-year-old man of Willard Avenue was arrested at 8:45 a.m. and charged with disorderly conduct and threatening.

• A 40-year-old Moodus man was issued a citation at 2:16 p.m. for traveling unreasonably fast after his 1993 Toyota ½-ton pick-up truck struck the rear of a blue 1997 Nissan Sentra operated by a 23-year-old woman of Lake View Terrace that was stopped in the northbound lane on Essex Road with its left turn signal engaged to make a left turn onto Wood Duck Road. The road was covered in snow at the time.

• At 9:59 a.m. it was reported that a 17-year-old woman of Newell Terrace was operating a 2006 Volkswagen Jetta westbound on McVeagh Road west of Toby Hill Road when she lost control of the vehicle in snow and struck a wire-rope guardrail on the eastbound shoulder. No injuries were reported and no enforcement action was indicated.

• A 35-year-old Essex man was arrested and charged with larceny in the third degree.
• A 62-year-old Stamford man was arrested and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs and failure to maintain the proper lane of a multiple-lane highway.
Tuesday, Dec. 23
• A 62-year-old Stamford man was arrested at 12:34 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs and failure to drive in the proper lane of a multiple-lane highway following a traffic stop. Police received several calls reporting his erratic driving.
• A 43-year-old Higganum woman was issued a verbal warning at 3:53 p.m. for failure to drive a reasonable distance apart after the 1996 Ford Crown Victoria she was operating southbound on Route 153 struck the rear of a 1998 Pontiac GFS driven by a 39-year-old Madison woman. No injuries were reported.
• A 40-year-old woman of Jamaica, New York, was issued a citation at 10:46 p.m. for operating a motor vehicle without a license after she lost control of the 2006 Dodge Charger she was operating and struck a metal-beam guardrail. A 29-year-old male passenger was onboard. No injuries were reported.
• At 6:60 p.m. Trooper Thomas Inglis reported that an unknown vehicle was wanted for evading the scene of an accident after it struck a 1999 Nissan Altima that was parked in front of 22 Sagamore Terrace Drive.
Wednesday, Dec. 24
• A 62-year-old Stamford man was arrested at 12:45 a.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs and failure to maintain the proper lane of a multiple-lane highway.
• A 52-year-old man of a Westbrook post office box address was issued a citation at 12:03 p.m. for unsafe backing after the 2002 Saturn SL2 he was operation in front of 22 Pequot Park Road struck the left mirror of a 2001 Volvo that was parked on the right shoulder and was occupied by a 50-year-old Naugatuck man.

• A 21-year-old Centerbrook woman was arrested at 4:10 a.m. and charged with disorderly conduct. She was processed and released on a $1,000 surety bond at 7:20 a.m. to the custody of a male relative. In the same incident, at 31-year-old man of Pond Meadow Road was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct.
Friday, Dec. 26

• A 17-year-old Portland boy was issued a citation at 3:54 p.m. for failure to drive a reasonable distance apart after the 1997 Jeep Cherokee he was operating southbound on Route 153 near the I-95 exit 65 ramp struck the rear of a 1998 Ford Escort operated by a 19-year-old Chester man stopped for traffic. The cited driver failed to slow down because he “momentarily” took his eyes from the roadway. The cited driver had a 17-year-old Deep River girl onboard in the passenger seat.
• A 63-year-old Clinton man was operating a 2003 Ford Explorer at 4:46 p.m. westbound on Route 1 when the vehicle drifted into the eastbound lane and struck a snow bank on the eastbound shoulder. The vehicle continued westbound and struck the Venetucci building at 433 Boston Post Road. A 45-year-old passenger onboard sustained a minor head laceration and was transported to the Shoreline Clinic. The driver and a 60-year-old female passenger were not injured but were transported to the Shoreline Clinic for observation.
• At 7:44 p.m. Trooper Thomas Inglis reported that a 66-year-old Clinton man was operating a vehicle eastbound on Route 1 when he struck the piece of a concrete planter that was in the roadway as a result of the previous accident at Venetucci’s. No injuries were reported and no enforcement action was taken.
Saturday, Dec. 27
• A 47-year-old Old Lyme man was arrested at 1:42 a.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs and failure to maintain the proper lane of a multiple-lane highway. He was processed on a $5,000 non-surety bond pending a Jan. 9 court date. He also required an emergency committal to the Shoreline Clinic.
• A 23-year-old man of Woodledge Lane was arrested at 8:22 a.m. and charged with disorderly conduct, interfering with an emergency call, and four counts of violation of a protective order. He was processed and released on a $5,000 surety bond pending a Dec. 29 court date.
