Reminder: The deadline for all applications for the N. Blake King scholarships is April 30, 2008. Applications must be received in the Kiwanis PO Box by this date to be eligible.
The Kiwanis Club of New London's
N. Blake King Scholarship applications are now available. These
prestigious scholarships are named in the memory of N. Blake King, a
long-time member of the Kiwanis Club of New London and former New England District of Kiwanis Governor in 1966.
Applications
are evaluated with consideration given to academic performance,
extracurricular activities, community service and financial need.
Graduating seniors at New London, Waterford, East Lyme, Lyme-Old Lyme, Fitch, St. Bernard, and Grasso
Tech high schools, along with college students, are encouraged to
apply. Applications are due by the end of April.
Applications are available at the stated high school guidance offices,
the Kiwanis Club of New London website at
