These stats include the entire site, not just NL. I can tell you Zip06 has 116 unique NL users at the moment. And growing daily!!!!!

Sales at the Crystal Mall are quite exciting. As a newly-minted Waterfordian...(sp?) I prefer hearing about sales at Flavours of Life. Funny how that works.

You are very good at what you do. Thank you for humoring me. I assume by page views we are discussing 06320 not the whole zip06 constellation? What happens elsewhere doesn't really concern a New Londoner unless we are counting a sale at the Crystal Mall, and even then...only maybe.

I think a few exclamation points belong behind "growing daily." At least two, maybe five for effect. Thank you for sharing. WK

True... NL has not hired anyone but I too have asked this mostly to myself. Often I have contacted The Day and others to let them know in many cases months after the article has appeared in either Costal Living, NY Times, etc... The Day picks it up. I have also written article and editorial (letter 2) telling the city Film Commission that films and mini series of native sons are in the works only to have it fall upon deaf ears. There is a guardian angel out there just not sure if when this angel continues to knock... the city will open the door.

I dislike what the corporate entities don't do more than I dislike what they do. I know very well that New London is a limited market and I know what a limited budget entails. I hope this really works in the best sense despite whatever misgivings I may have about sponsorship. I would prefer this be a bottom-up endeavor rather than a top-down one, but if there is money to be made, I have no reason to doubt the Day and its minions will know how to exploit it to everyone's benefit. I may trash talk the Day, but I do believe that in their heart of hearts management has T. Bowdenwien's mission in sight no matter how out of skew I may think thier eyeglasses may be.

Feel free to publish anything I write here in the Times. It wouldn't be the first time I got column space without receiving one slim dime. Would it be too much to ask for you to mail me a copy of the July 3 edition? It doesn't get regularly dropped in my Dorchester mailbox. Cheers. WK.
