Groton Town Retires 5 officers

On July 31, 08 the Groton Town Police will be retiring 5 officers. The following officer will be leaving: Lt. Tim Curtis, date of hire was 1/31/1983, on 25 yrs of Preston. Master Patrol Officer Donald Holloway hired 10/17/1983, on 25 yrs, of Mystic. Lt Jody Grabowski hired 7/27/1984, on 24 yrs, of Stonington. Lt Joseph Nesdill hired 7/27/1984, on 24 yrs of Waterford. Youth Officer Diana Thorstenson 7/27/1984, on 24 yrs of East Lyme. Jody Grabowski and Diana Thorstenson were the first women on the department.
